National Volunteer Week is coming up on 20-26 May 2024, so it's perfect time to say thank you to all of the generous individuals who give up their time, skills and care to help at a multitude of organisations and charities.
Did you know, there's nearly 6million volunteers in Australia every year, and they generously share 180 hours of their time each year. From sporting clubs, to aged care homes, schools or animal welfare organisations, volunteers state they donate their time to give back to the community and do something worthwhile.
