Embroidered Sports Duffle Bags for Canberra Kyokushin Karate
A team bag goes everywhere its owner goes: to training, competitions and the next event on the calendar. For this recent project, we embroidered blue and yellow sports duffle bags with branding for Canberra Kyokushin Karate and Team ACT Kyokushin.
The bags have a bright blue body, yellow side panels and black handles and zip details. We added the circular Canberra Kyokushin Karate emblem to one end of the bag and the Team ACT Kyokushin design to a front pocket. Together, the two embroidered designs give the bags a coordinated look while making both identities easy to recognise.
A place for both team designs
Placement matters on a bag with multiple panels and pockets. The circular karate emblem sits on a clear blue end panel, where its white lettering and red centre stand out. On the front pocket, the white Team ACT Kyokushin lettering is easy to read against the blue fabric.
Using different panels gave each design its own space. From the side, both embroidered logos are visible as part of the same bag.

Embroidery adds texture and a distinctive finish to a club logo. It works especially well when a bag is going to be carried regularly and the team wants its branding to feel like a considered part of the gear.
