The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is an annual fundraising event that challenges business and community leaders to spend a night sleeping outdoors, gaining a small insight into the realities faced by thousands of Australians experiencing homelessness every day. More importantly, the event raises vital funds for programs and services that provide accommodation, food, support and pathways to a better future.
By taking part in this year's Sleepout, Emily joined leaders from across Australia in helping to shine a light on homelessness and the growing challenges faced by vulnerable individuals and families.
The experience was a powerful reminder of the importance of community, compassion and collective action. Every dollar raised contributes to practical support services delivered by Vinnies, helping people access the assistance they need when facing difficult circumstances.
