From EmbroidMe to Fully Promoted Australia

Today, you know us as Fully Promoted. However, did you know our franchise started under a different name? It might surprise you to know that when the first store opened in Australia in 2004, the business was named EmbroidMe. EmbroidMe became well known for premium embroidery and custom uniforms across Australia.

Recognising a shift in market demand in 2017, and understanding that customers wanted more than embroidery services for their branding needs, EmbroidMe officially rebranded to Fully Promoted. 

This transition marked our growth from being specialised embroidery shops to becoming full-service promotional partners. While the name change better reflects our ever-expanding range of digital, print, and branding solutions, the local expertise and quality craftsmanship that defined EmbroidMe remain at the heart of every Fully Promoted store today.

The franchise EmbroidMe was founded in the United States in 2000 by Ray Titus of United Franchise Group. The idea focused on utilising custom embroidery and screen printing to help businesses create professional branded apparel.

The brand grew rapidly and, within a few years, EmbroidMe expanded to hundreds of shopfronts internationally.

The business entered the Australian market in 2004, with North Sydney launching as the first store. That original location was established by Matt and Karen Fitzpatrick, who remain integral to the brand's story, with Matt going on to work with United Franchise Group as the General Manager of Signarama Australia.

Over time, the services offered by EmbroidMe expanded significantly. While embroidery remained important, businesses increasingly wanted a single partner that could provide a full range of branding solutions. At the beginning of 2017, the global network rebranded to Fully Promoted to better represent the range of branded solutions stores could offer to meet these needs.

Additionally, as the industry evolved, so did the ways apparel could be customised. Stores invested in new equipment, and customers today have access to a wide range of branding options depending on their purpose, logo and budget.

With stores located right across the country, Fully Promoted now supplies a range of embroidered products alongside a comprehensive range of branded apparel and promotional products for a wide range of industries.
